We are fortunate that Maryland has some of the finest hosptitals in the world. Carroll Pediatrics has been a respected member of this outstanding healthcare community for almost 50 years, and we have excellent working relationships with the staff and specialists at most of these hospitals. For emergencies, an ambulance will usually take you to the nearest hospital. If we are notified in advance, we can alert the appropriate staff at the hospital. When we are aware that you are going to or are already at a hospital, we can work with the staff to arrange the optimal care or, if needed, facilitate discharge or transfer to a more appropiate facility.
